Welcome to Enabled London’s Access Maps

Our services

Enabled London, the creators of WordBank, are also the makers of Photo Access Maps.

Photo Access Maps are easy-to-follow maps detailing journeys that have step-free access, using:

  • simple language
  • photographs
  • a unique time-bar that shows traveling times between each part of the journey
Visit London's awarded 2006 Cross Rivers Partnership have won a gold medal with these maps in the Visit London's Tourism Awards 2006. Congratulations CRP!

Here’s an example of a map we created for Cross Rivers Partnership, Tourism for All and Visit London, It shows a step-free route from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.

A standard Access Map has 6-9 panels telling people:

  • how to find you
  • what to expect inside and outside your venue
  • where the nearest disabled facilities are
  • what your goods, services and opening times are

You can see more maps on Visit London's website.

If you would like to know more about having an accessible map for your group, organisation or business, please contact us.
