Mudchute Farm is the largest inner city farm in the country.
There are 13 acres of green space - that means that it is larger than 6 football pitches joined together!

You can go for a walk around the farm. There are lots of different animals to see like cows, llamas, sheep, pigs, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, peacocks, budgies, chickens, geese, ducks, horses and a python.

You can have a snack in the café or visit their garden centre and farm shop.

Sometimes Mudchute Farm has festivals and farming shows, you could phone them to find out what's coming up.

You can visit the Mudchute Farm to see the farm animals any time.
It can get busy at the weekends.

The opening times of the farm buildings are:

Mudchute Farm is closed on Christmas day.

It's a good idea to let them know if you are coming as a group - they are very popular.

It's free to visit the farm.

A cup of tea and a baked potato from the café will cost about £2.50.
You can bring your own lunches and eat on the BBQ tables outside the cafe or in the park.

If you are want to go as a group in a coach it's a good idea to let them know before you go. That way they can keep a parking space for you.

At Canary Wharf station you should change onto the DLR and get off at Mudchute station.

Mudchute, Crossharbour and Island Gardens stations are the nearest DLR stations. They are all fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Canning town and Greenwich are the nearest mainline stations - then change onto the DLR and get off at Mudchute station.

There are lots of different pathways to enjoy, if you want to know which paths are best for you then just ask a member of staff.
You can get maps of the pathways from the shop.
The garden centre has loose stones covering the ground, if you need support just ask one of the staff.
You can go inside some of the fields or see farm animals from the pathways.

There is plenty of room for a person using a wheelchair to move around inside the farm yards.
